Contraceptive Implant (Implanon NXT®) Insertion and Removal Training (Distance education)

This interactive online course aims to provide theoretical and live-online simulated training in the insertion and removal of the contraceptive implant Implanon NXT® and provide product knowledge and patient counselling. Implanon NXT® distance education consists of approximately two hours self-paced, online theoretical pre-reading, and approximately one hour of small group, live-online simulation practice via a Zoom webinar.

This education is a CPD Activity under the RACGP CPD Program for 3.5 hours.

This is an accredited activity under the ACRRM Professional Development Program.

Other health professionals can use the Statement of Attendance to support their annual declaration of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours as part of their registration requirements.
